Envy Eyewear Boutique opened its doors in 2007 in Toronto’s Beaches with one simple goal: to bring seriously stylish eyewear to the neighbourhood.
What started as a small boutique with a big personality quickly turned into a local favourite, earning “Best Optical Store” in The Beaches and Riverdale in our very first year, followed by several more awards along the way.
But we are not just about frames (even though ours are pretty great). We’re about helping people feel confident in what they wear, how they see, and how they show up in the world. That is the Envy difference.
At the end of the day, Envy Eyewear Boutique is about people. Your family, our family, and the communities we are lucky enough to be part of.

A Family Run Boutique, Through and Through
Envy Eyewear Boutique is deeply personal. Yasmin Boga, optician and owner, has built the boutique alongside her family, literally shaping the space together from the inside out. Even the renovations were a family project, right down to the sidewalk outside.
Her father, Dr. Amirali Boga, was also part of the clinic’s early medical foundation before his retirement in 2015. To this day, longtime patients still come in to ask how he is doing, which says everything about the kind of relationships this place is built on.

We are deeply rooted in The Beaches, and we genuinely love this community. You will find us showing up in all the ways that matter, whether that is supporting local schools, helping out neighbourhood fundraisers, or donating eyewear and services for silent auctions and community events.
We also love backing local athletes and charity events whenever we can, because this neighbourhood has supported us from day one, and we are always happy to return the favour.

Yasmin regularly volunteers with the Global Kindness Foundation, joining international medical missions that bring essential dental, medical, and optical care to communities that need it most.
Her work has taken her to Peru, Lebanon, Syria, and Zanzibar, where she helps run eye exams and fit prescription eyewear for people who might otherwise go without.
It is real, hands-on, and incredibly meaningful work, and it is a huge part of who we are.
