Contacts That Fit Your Eyes, Not Just Your Prescription

At Envy Eyewear Boutique, we’ll guide you through the whole process, from your contact lens exam and fitting to trying trial lenses at home. No pressure, no guessing, and definitely no settling for lenses that make your eyes miserable.

New to Contacts? We’ve Got You Covered

If you’ve never worn contact lenses before, don’t worry. We don’t expect you to magically know what you’re doing.

Your appointment includes hands-on instruction for inserting and removing your lenses, plus guidance on cleaning, storing, and wearing them safely. Once you’re comfortable getting them in and out, we’ll provide trial lenses so you can practice at home.

And if you need a refresher, you’re always welcome to come back for another lesson.

Finding Your Contact Lens Match

The Exam

First, we’ll take a close look at your eyes and confirm your prescription. We’ll also check your overall eye health to make sure contact lenses are a safe and suitable option for you.

The Fitting

Your prescription is only part of the equation. We also assess the shape and measurements of your eyes to find lenses that fit comfortably and provide clear, stable vision.

The Test Drive

Once we’ve found a lens that looks promising, you’ll get to try it out. We’ll teach you how to insert and remove your lenses, review proper care, and send you home with trial lenses to practice wearing them in your everyday life.

We typically schedule a follow-up in about 2 weeks to see how things are going. If the first option isn’t quite right, that’s okay. We can make adjustments and try another option until we find a better match.

Contact Lens Care: The Basics

Once you find your lenses, taking care of them properly helps keep your eyes comfortable and healthy.

Do:

  • Follow your recommended wearing schedule
  • Use contact lens solution as directed
  • Replace your lenses and case on schedule
  • Keep your contact lens case clean
  • Wash and dry your hands before handling your lenses

Don’t:

  • Sleep in your lenses unless specifically instructed to do so
  • Use saliva or tap water to clean your lenses
  • Share your contact lenses with anyone
  • Reuse old contact lens solution
  • Wear lenses past their recommended replacement schedule

When in doubt, ask us. We’d much rather answer a quick question than have you spend the day wondering if something is normal.

Our Specialty Contact Lenses

Need something a little more specific than a standard contact lens? We offer specialty contact lens fittings for a variety of vision needs, including:

  • Aspheric contact lenses: Designed with a specialized lens shape that can provide clear, comfortable vision for certain prescriptions and visual needs.
  • Multifocal contact lenses: Provide correction at multiple distances, making them an option for people who need help seeing both near and far.
  • Toric contact lenses: Designed to correct astigmatism and provide more stable vision for eyes with an irregular corneal shape.
  • Myopia control contact lenses: Specially designed lenses that may help slow the progression of myopia in children and teens.

We’ll help determine which lens type makes sense for your prescription, lifestyle, and eyes.
